Henderson's tearful beginning

Eric Kinder, a long-serving goalkeeping coach in Carlisle's youth system, first encountered Henderson during a school half-term when the youngster was 13 or 14. Kinder initially turned him away — too young, too small — but eventually relented and put him in front of two 18-year-old centre-forwards in training.
