Nigeria-born Manchester City U-17s head coach Chuks Akuneto has cautioned that the Super Eagles cannot afford complacency in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, insisting that only consistent victories will secure a place at the tournament — regardless of a favourable group draw.

Akuneto spoke exclusively to Complete Sports following Tuesday's draw in Cairo, which placed Nigeria in Group L alongside Madagascar, Tanzania, and Guinea-Bissau.
