From the fourth tier to the Premier League

Chavarria's path to one of English football's most storied clubs was far from straightforward. He launched his career with hometown side UE Figueres, then competing in the Spanish fourth tier, making his senior debut at 18 against CF Peralada.

A move to third-tier UE Olot in the summer of 2018 marked a turning point. Chavarria quickly established himself as a regular starter and one of the division's most reliable players, racking up 52 appearances before departing.

In August 2020, he stepped up to the Spanish second tier with Real Zaragoza, marking his professional debut the following month in a 2-2 draw with Las Palmas. After two full seasons at Zaragoza, he earned a move to the top flight with Rayo in August 2022.

A key figure at Rayo Vallecano

Chavarria became a cornerstone of the Rayo Vallecano side over four seasons, helping the club record back-to-back eighth-place finishes in La Liga and reach the UEFA Conference League final. He featured 44 times last term as Rayo fell narrowly short in that final, beaten by Crystal Palace.
