Former England international Chris Waddle has publicly backed Newcastle United to pursue a deal for Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.

Waddle believes the 27-year-old is perfectly suited to the demands of the Premier League and would thrive as a focal point for the Magpies' attack.
