For many participants, the surroundings alone made the occasion unforgettable. Instead of their usual club pitches, they played at the heart of the FIFA Fan Festival™, in the orbit of the world's biggest sporting event. Players were also given specially designed commemorative kits for the tournament — a keepsake for every participant regardless of the final scoreline.
