AIK Eye Egboh as Yohanna Heads to Brighton

Swedish club AIK are targeting Nigerian teenager Shedrack Egboh as a potential replacement for Zadok Yohanna, who completed a record transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend.
Egboh is expected to travel to Sweden for a trial with AIK this summer, with the club's recruitment staff keen to evaluate the 18-year-old before committing to a permanent deal. A positive trial could open the door for a full transfer, with several European clubs also reported to be monitoring the promising winger.
Yohanna's departure sets a new benchmark
Yohanna's move to Brighton & Hove Albion made history as a record-breaking fee for an AIK player. The 18-year-old winger is set to become only the second Nigerian to represent the Seagulls, following former Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun.
AIK recruitment manager Miika Takkula made clear that the Yohanna deal is not a one-off but a blueprint for how the Swedish club intends to operate going forward.
