Antonio Conte has confirmed he will leave Napoli at the end of the current season, bringing a close to a two-year spell in which he guided the club back to Serie A glory.

The announcement came on Sunday, with Conte making clear that his time at the Naples club is over. He arrived at Napoli tasked with reviving a side that had struggled to build on their remarkable 2022-23 title-winning campaign, and he delivered, steering them to another Serie A championship.

Despite speculation linking him to the Italy national team job, Conte played down those reports, distancing himself from any immediate move into international management.
