Michael Eneramo, a former Nigeria international striker, collapsed and died during a local friendly match in Ungwan Yelwa, Kaduna on Friday morning. He had completed the entire first half of the game before suffering what early reports described as a cardiac arrest just five minutes into the second half. He was 39 years old, born on 26th November, 1985 in Kaduna.

The Nigeria Football Federation's General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi, expressed his grief from Cairo, Egypt, where he was travelling at the time.
