Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC have secured the services of Nigerian striker Victor Mbaoma, making him the club's first signing ahead of the 2026/27 season. The 29-year-old arrives on a one-year deal after departing NPFL champions Remo Stars.
A proven goal-scorer arrives in Nairobi
Mbaoma brings a formidable record to Tusker FC. In his most recent campaign with Remo Stars, he contributed 14 goals and four assists — figures that underline his importance as an attacking force in Nigerian football.
This is not Mbaoma's first adventure in East African football. He previously represented Rwandan giants APR, where he finished as the league's top scorer with 15 goals while helping the club claim domestic honours. That experience makes him well-acquainted with the demands and rhythms of football on the continent.
Mbaoma eager to deliver for the Brewers
The former Akwa United forward made clear that Tusker FC's ambitions played a central role in his decision to move.
