Adams Backs Super Eagles to Bounce Back After Guinea-Bissau Humbling

Nigeria forward Akor Adams has urged his teammates to dust themselves off after the Super Eagles suffered a damaging 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Tuesday.
The result, played at the September 24 Stadium in Bissau, came just days after Nigeria had edged Madagascar 2-1 in their opening Matchday 1 fixture. The Djurtus were dominant throughout and left the Super Eagles with questions to answer in the qualification campaign.
Taking responsibility
Adams was unflinching in his assessment of the loss, insisting the squad have collectively accepted blame for a performance that fell well below expectations.
