Former Nigeria international Alloy Agu has warned that Portugal will face a determined Super Eagles side when the two nations meet in an international friendly on Wednesday, June 10.
The fixture doubles as Portugal's final warm-up match before they head to North America for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while Nigeria view the game as valuable preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which kick off in September.
Eagles ready for the challenge
Speaking to Completesports.com, Agu pointed to Nigeria's 2-2 draw against Poland in Warsaw as evidence that the Super Eagles are in strong shape heading into the contest.
