Semi Ajayi has praised Hull City's character after they recovered from a recent defeat to claim a 1-1 draw against Brentford in the Premier League at the MKM Stadium on Sunday.
Having suffered a 1-0 loss to Fulham the previous week, Hull City showed real determination to hold their own against the visitors, earning Ajayi recognition as both the Premier League and Hull City Player of the Match.
McBurnie puts Hull ahead
The hosts made a strong start, taking the lead through Oli McBurnie, who converted a penalty in the 24th minute to give Hull City the advantage at the interval.
Brentford responded with greater urgency after the break, and Dango Ouattara drew them level in the 63rd minute, cancelling out Hull City's first-half lead.
Ajayi pleased despite dropped points
Despite the frustration of failing to hold on for a home win, Ajayi remained upbeat about what the result represented for his side.
