Former Shooting Stars coach Fatai Amoo has voiced his regret at being denied the chance to see Victor Osimhen go head-to-head with Cristiano Ronaldo in Nigeria's international friendly against Portugal in Leiria.

Osimhen was given permission to skip the fixture so he could concentrate on sorting out his club future ahead of a transfer move, with the Super Eagles also keen to protect him from any potential injury risk during the off-season.
