Brentford manager Keith Andrews has admitted that Yehor Yarmoliuk's first-half red card fundamentally altered the course of their Premier League clash against Liverpool, which the Bees ultimately lost 2-1.

Yarmoliuk was dismissed before the break, leaving Brentford to battle with ten men for the majority of the contest. Andrews acknowledged that the sending-off made an already difficult task considerably harder for his side.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Brentford managed to find the net, but Liverpool proved too strong on the day, securing a 2-1 victory that further underlines their credentials at the top of the Premier League.
