Mikel Arteta has confirmed Arsenal will arrange a new team photograph to include William Saliba, after the defender was notably absent from the club's official 2026/27 season photo released earlier this week.

The omission left supporters puzzled, with Arsenal explaining that Saliba had been unable to attend due to a medical appointment. Arteta shed further light on the matter ahead of Sunday's away match at Nottingham Forest.

Commercial pressures forced the timing

The Arsenal manager revealed the photo session had already been postponed on three separate occasions before the club decided to proceed without their star defender.
