Aston Villa Sign Alejandro Garnacho on Loan from Chelsea

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea on a season-long loan, with the deal containing a conditional obligation to buy that is considered straightforward to trigger.
The total package — encompassing the loan fee — is understood to satisfy Chelsea's asking price. Sky Sports News had previously reported that Chelsea were seeking £42.6m for the Argentine winger.
A brief Chelsea stint
Garnacho arrived at Chelsea last summer from Manchester United in a £40m move, yet departs Stamford Bridge less than 12 months after joining. The Argentina international had absented himself from pre-season training at Chelsea in order to facilitate a transfer.
Aston Villa secured his services after an eventful period of negotiations between the two clubs — talks that also produced a British-record £117m deal taking Morgan Rogers in the opposite direction to Chelsea.
What the deal means for Villa
The move gives Unai Emery's side an attacking reinforcement ahead of the new Premier League campaign. Garnacho, known for his direct running and eye for goal, will add depth and competition to Villa's forward options as they look to build on last season's European ambitions.
