BBC Sport and British YouTube collective the Sidemen are joining forces to broadcast a World Cup watchalong for Germany's group-stage clash with Ecuador, available on YouTube and BBC iPlayer from Thursday evening.
Germany have already secured their place in the knockout rounds, while Ecuador can still book their own spot in the next stage with a victory.
How to watch
The watchalong will stream simultaneously on BBC Football's YouTube channel and on the Sidemen's MoreSidemen YouTube channel, giving fans two platforms to choose from.
Four Sidemen members—Tobi Brown, Simon Minter, Ethan Payne, and Josh Bradley—will host pre-match coverage from 20:45 BST, continuing through the full 90 minutes with their own commentary and analysis.
Both the watchalong and the match itself are available to UK viewers only. Ecuador v Germany is also broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with radio commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds.
A new frontier for live football
Alex Kay-Jelski, director of BBC Sport, described the collaboration as a landmark moment for live football broadcasting.
