BBC Presenters, Pundits, and Commentators for Curacao vs Ivory Coast Confirmed

1 hour ago·1 min

Ivory Coast are hunting a place in the World Cup 2026 knockout rounds when they face Curacao in Philadelphia — and BBC Two will carry the match live and free for UK viewers, with streaming available via iPlayer.

The Group E clash is one of two simultaneous final-day fixtures on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States, with the other taking place in New Jersey.

Studio panel in Salford

Presenter Kelly Cates leads the BBC broadcast from the Salford studio. She is joined by a panel that includes Lucas Leiva, Daniel Sturridge, and Joe Hart.

Hart brings considerable authority to the role. The former Manchester City goalkeeper earned 75 caps for England across a nine-year international career spanning four major tournaments. His expertise on goalkeeping and match-ball analysis has made him a regular presence in football broadcasting.

Sturridge partners Hart in the studio — a familiar combination. The two shared 46 appearances together across Manchester City and England before Sturridge carved out a profile as a European football pundit with TNT Sports.

Completing the panel is Lucas, the former Brazilian midfielder who accumulated 24 senior caps for Brazil. He and Sturridge were Liverpool teammates, sharing the pitch on 61 occasions during their time at Anfield.

Commentary team

Steven Wyeth and former Premier League striker Efan Ekoku are on commentary duty for the Curacao vs Ivory Coast match on BBC Two.
