Benitez Declares Interest in Premier League Return

Rafael Benitez has confirmed he is keen to return to the Premier League dugout, with several managerial positions across England appearing increasingly uncertain ahead of the international break.
The experienced Spanish coach has been absent from English football since Everton dismissed him in 2022 — just six months into his tenure at Goodison Park. During his previous stints in England, he led clubs including Liverpool, Newcastle, and Chelsea, collecting the FA Cup, the Champions League, the Europa League, and the EFL Championship along the way.
UEFA role keeps him sharp
Benitez's most recent managerial post came at Greek club Panathinaikos, where he held a two-and-a-half-year contract before departing after seven months in May. Since then, he has taken up a position within the UEFA Technical Observer Group, where he analyses matches, monitors tactical trends, and contributes to official reports for the governing body.
