Bergvall Seeks Tottenham Exit as Spurs Eye Tonali

Lucas Bergvall's future at Tottenham Hotspur is in doubt, with the Swedish midfielder understood to be weighing up a move away from the club after a frustrating end to last season.
The 20-year-old made 33 appearances for Spurs, though his campaign was disrupted by two months on the sidelines following ankle surgery. His final weeks under manager Roberto de Zerbi brought limited playing time, and often in roles outside his favoured position as a number six.
Talks with Premier League rivals
Bergvall's representatives have held discussions with Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, and Chelsea over a potential transfer. Chelsea, however, have since cooled their interest after briefly considering a move for the midfielder in January.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are pursuing their own midfield reinforcements. The club have submitted an offer of approximately £80 million for Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali, though Newcastle rejected the bid.
Bergvall at the World Cup
Bergvall is currently representing Sweden at the FIFA World Cup, where he featured in his side's 5-1 defeat to the Netherlands in Houston on Saturday. Despite that setback on the international stage, his performances at the tournament could yet attract further interest from clubs tracking his situation at Spurs.
