Bologna have opened preliminary discussions with Rangers over a potential transfer for midfielder Nico Raskin, 25, according to reports. The Italian club are understood to be in the early stages of negotiations, while Rangers manager Derek McInnes is reportedly keen to bring Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson to Ibrox in a deal going the other way.

Hull City have also submitted a bid in the region of £12–14 million for Raskin, though Rangers are said to value the Belgium international closer to £20 million. The gap between the two parties' valuations could complicate any potential deal.
McCrorie returns to Ibrox
Rangers have agreed a fee of approximately £1.5 million with Bristol City to bring defender Ross McCrorie back to Glasgow. The 28-year-old has completed his medical and is set to sign a three-year contract, with an additional 12-month club option included.
