Brentford Director Phil Giles Explains Frank Onyeka's Permanent Move to Coventry City

Brentford director of football Phil Giles has shed light on the club's decision to allow Frank Onyeka to leave permanently for Coventry City, pointing to the Nigeria international's need for consistent first-team football.
Onyeka, 28, initially arrived at Coventry City on loan in February, going on to play a significant role in the Sky Blues' Sky Bet Championship title triumph — ending the club's 25-year absence from the Premier League. He completed a permanent transfer to Coventry City for an undisclosed fee on Monday.
Giles explains the move
Speaking on Brentford's official website, Giles acknowledged that Onyeka's limited game time at the club ultimately drove the decision to make the transfer permanent.
