Celtic are moving on multiple transfer fronts this summer, with a record-breaking striker deal virtually done and a goalkeeper target from Spain's second division firmly in their sights.

Record fee for Hogh

The Scottish club have agreed a fee in excess of £11 million with Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt for 25-year-old striker Kasper Hogh — a record transfer outlay for Celtic. The deal represents a significant financial commitment from the Glasgow club as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

Hogh was set to travel to Scotland on Saturday night to finalise the move, with reports indicating he will put pen to paper on a four-year contract that includes an option for a fifth year.

Goalkeeper talks intensify

Alongside the Hogh deal, Celtic have stepped up negotiations with Las Palmas over Croatian goalkeeper Dinko Horkas, 27. The talks between the two clubs have grown more serious in recent days, raising the prospect of a second major signing in quick succession.

Other transfer developments

Celtic's interest in AEK Athens left-back James Penrice appears to have cooled, with an initial approach not having been followed up and a transfer now considered unlikely to happen.
