Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has revealed his starting lineup for Nigeria's opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Madagascar, handing a first start to exciting newcomer George Ilenikhena.

Chippa United shot-stopper Stanley Nwabali takes his place in goal, with Ola Aina and Bruno Onyemaechi deployed at right-back and left-back respectively. Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey form the central defensive partnership.

Captain Wilfred Ndidi anchors the midfield, with Fulham's Alex Iwobi operating alongside him in the centre of the park.
