Hull City have bolstered their Premier League squad with the signing of French forward Mohamed-Ali Cho from Ligue 1 outfit Nice on a five-year deal.

The 22-year-old is the Tigers' 12th summer acquisition as the club looks to cement their place in the top flight following promotion from the Championship.

A well-travelled attacker

Cho racked up 93 appearances for Nice over two and a half seasons, contributing 12 goals and 13 assists before making his move to Hull.

He also brings European pedigree to the club, having appeared 13 times in the UEFA Europa League while at Nice, and earning UEFA Champions League experience with Spanish club Real Sociedad.

Born in France and raised in England, Cho made his professional debut for Angers at the age of 16, immediately making his mark as the club's youngest scorer.

International allegiance and background

Cho represented England at Under-16 level before switching his international allegiance to France, for whom he has since featured at under-21 level.

Hull's ambitious summer spending

Hull have invested more than £75 million since clinching promotion by defeating Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final, a run of spending that includes a club-record fee for Senegal defender Nobel Mendy.

The club made a memorable return to the Premier League after a nine-year absence, marking the occasion with a first-ever top-flight victory against Manchester United in their opening fixture.
