Damien Duff Appointed Brentford Assistant Manager After Shelbourne Exit

Brentford have brought former Chelsea and Republic of Ireland winger Damien Duff back into English football as their new assistant manager, reuniting him with head coach Keith Andrews.
Duff had been absent from the game since stepping down as Shelbourne manager last year, making his return to the Premier League all the more notable. Andrews and Duff are long-time colleagues, having previously served together in the Republic of Ireland's coaching staff, and Duff also spent time alongside Andrews at Brentford's west London base ahead of this appointment.

Andrews was candid about his enthusiasm for the signing, pointing to years of shared experience as the foundation of the partnership.
