Real Madrid extended their flawless Champions League campaign with a commanding 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig on Wednesday, with a stunning effort from Diomande providing the night's standout moment.

The Spanish giants controlled proceedings at every stage, making light work of a Leipzig side that struggled to match their intensity. The win keeps Madrid at the summit of the competition with a 100 percent record intact.

Diomande, facing his former club, delivered a jaw-dropping finish that underlined just how far Real Madrid's squad depth extends — a goal worthy of settling any match on its own.

Leipzig managed a consolation effort, but it did little to mask the gulf in class between the two sides on the night. Madrid's defensive solidity was as impressive as their attacking thrust, giving manager Carlo Ancelotti's men a composed and dominant look throughout.

The result cements Real Madrid's status as one of the early frontrunners in this season's Champions League, a competition they know better than most — having lifted the trophy the most times in the tournament's history.
