A planned international friendly between DR Congo and Chile, set for 9 June in La Linea de la Concepcion, Spain, has been cancelled after local authorities cited health concerns linked to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in DR Congo.

Juan Franco, mayor of La Linea de la Concepcion, signed a decree blocking the fixture from going ahead. The move followed recommendations from the Andalusian regional health service and the municipality's own medical department.
