Endrick Hails Ancelotti as a Great Coach Ahead of World Cup 2026

Brazil forward Endrick has lavished praise on Carlo Ancelotti, calling him a great coach with the right mindset to lead a team — and crediting his time at Real Madrid as a formative experience ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The teenage striker spoke warmly about the Italian tactician, underlining Ancelotti's commitment to team-first decisions over individual interests or fan expectations.

"I spent a year with him at Real Madrid, thank God I was able to play a lot of games. Regardless of whether it was five, ten, or 15 minutes, I was able to be with him at Real Madrid. He knows what I do when I come on, I give my all for the team and he knows that very well, it's no different here with the national team," Endrick said.
"He's a great coach, he's got a good head on his shoulders. I thank God that he's here, because he's a great coach. He's not going to do what's best for Endrick, he's not going to do what's best for the fans, he's going to do what's best for the team. He knows very well how I can help the team."

Endrick also expressed gratitude towards Brazil supporters, saying the energy he receives inside stadiums fills him with motivation to deliver on the pitch.

"I'm very grateful for the support from all the fans. Seeing what the fans do for me in the stadium is wonderful; I'm very grateful. I hope to contribute on the field," he added.

A teenager making history

Endrick has rapidly established himself as one of Brazil's most decisive attacking options since breaking into the squad as a teenager. He has already made history, becoming only the second youngest player ever to score 3 goals for Brazil — a record surpassed only by the legendary Pelé.

Several of those strikes have come as late winners, cementing his reputation as a game-changing substitute capable of turning matches in Brazil's favour at critical moments.
