England to Warn Players Over Hoardings After Henderson's Freak Wrist Injury

2 hours ago·1 min

England manager Thomas Tuchel is set to instruct his players not to jump over advertising hoardings after Jordan Henderson suffered a serious wrist injury while celebrating the team's 3-2 victory over Mexico at the Azteca Stadium.

Henderson, 36, attempted to hurdle the pitch-side hoardings during the post-match celebrations but landed awkwardly on his arm, forcing medical staff to carry him off the field on a stretcher. The Brentford midfielder is now expected to undergo surgery, leaving him as a major doubt for the remainder of the tournament.
