FA Warns Manchester City Verdict Threatens Football's Integrity

The Football Association has issued a stark warning following the independent commission's ruling against Manchester City, stating the verdict carries "significant implications for the integrity of the game."
In an official statement, the FA added that it is "carefully considering the decision and its implications" and pledged to "take action where appropriate."
The ruling, confirmed on Tuesday, found Manchester City guilty on all charges connected to breaches of the Premier League's financial regulations across nine seasons — from 2009-10 through to 2017-18.
City have consistently denied any wrongdoing throughout the lengthy process. In response to Tuesday's verdict, the club signalled their intention to file an appeal by Friday.
