Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabián Ruiz has declared that he wants to end his playing career at Real Betis, the Andalusian club where he grew up as a footballer.

The 30-year-old Spanish international spoke openly about his enduring attachment to the club, having come through their youth academy before establishing himself as a senior professional.

"I've always said it, I try to watch all their matches and I'm happy with their good results. I'm a Betis supporter, everyone knows that," Ruiz said.

"I would like to finish my career here. It's not the time, but it will surely happen in the future."

Ruiz is currently under contract with Paris Saint-Germain and plays a key role in Luis Enrique's squad, as well as remaining a regular figure for the Spanish national team. Despite that, a sentimental homecoming to Benito Villamarín is firmly part of his long-term vision.
