Hansi Flick delivered a note of caution despite Barcelona extending their stunning winning run to 10 matches with a victory in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

The Barcelona manager refused to let the mood in the camp grow complacent, warning that football is an unpredictable game where momentum can shift at any moment.

Barcelona's perfect start to the season has drawn admiration across Europe, but Flick made clear he expects his squad to remain focused and hungry rather than revel in the attention their run has generated.

The Champions League win on Tuesday was the latest demonstration of Barcelona's form — one that has placed them among the most talked-about sides in European football this term.

Still, Flick kept his feet firmly on the ground. His message to his players was straightforward: the work is far from finished, and the nature of football means that circumstances can change with little warning.

It is a mindset that has defined Flick's tenure at Barcelona — demanding, forward-thinking, and resistant to self-congratulation regardless of the results on the pitch.
