Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has paid tribute to Victor Osimhen's quality, calling the Nigerian forward a "fantastic striker" as his side prepare to face Galatasaray in a UEFA Champions League Matchday Two fixture at RAMS Park on Tuesday.

Osimhen returned to the Galatasaray squad last Friday, coming off the bench in the Turkish club's 3-1 win over Kasimpasa after a three-match absence through injury. The former Napoli striker is now expected to start against Barcelona.

Flick made clear that his team cannot afford to take the Turkish champions lightly, emphasising that Barcelona must produce their strongest football to earn a positive result in Istanbul.

"Galatasaray have a fantastic striker like Osimhen. They really have a great squad. We need to be ready for this match. We have to play our best football against Galatasaray," Flick was quoted as saying by Ahaber.

For Galatasaray, Tuesday's match offers an opportunity to recover following an opening-day defeat to Sporting Lisbon in the competition. The presence of Osimhen — who marked his comeback with an assist against Kasimpasa — will give the home side renewed confidence as they welcome the Spanish giants to Istanbul.
