Stade Rennais manager Franck Haise has revealed that he turned down interest from three Premier League clubs — Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton, and Nottingham Forest — citing concerns about his command of English as the primary reason for declining each approach.

Speaking in an interview with So Foot, Haise was candid about the opportunities that came his way before he eventually joined INEOS-backed Nice. Each time, he said, he was the one who chose not to take talks any further.
