Nigerian forward Friday Etim has claimed the Danish Superliga's Player of the Month award for September, capping a standout run of form for FC Midtjylland.

Etim delivered three goals and one assist across the month's league fixtures, underlining his growing influence in Denmark's top flight. The 24-year-old also got on the scoresheet in Midtjylland's Danish Cup tie against Sundby BK, reinforcing his case as the standout performer of the period.

His recognition saw him edge out FC Copenhagen pair Diant Ramaj and Asger Sørensen, who were also shortlisted for the honour.
