Nigerian striker Friday Etim has rejoined Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland, signing a contract that runs through the summer of 2029. The 24-year-old returns after a productive six-month spell at FC Fredericia, where he established himself as a regular starter.

Etim first arrived at FC Midtjylland from Portuguese club CD Mafra in the summer of 2025, but he moved to FC Fredericia during the January transfer window to secure more playing time. He made the most of that opportunity, contributing four goals and one assist across 24 appearances for FC Fredericia.

Director backs Etim's return

FC Midtjylland Sports Director Kristian Bach Bak made clear that the club never lost faith in the Nigerian forward, despite the earlier departure.
