Getafe Ready to Cash In on Uche After Crystal Palace Loan Stint

Getafe president Ángel Torres has confirmed the Spanish club are open to selling Christantus Uche this summer, following the Nigerian forward's underwhelming loan spell at Crystal Palace.
Uche spent the 2024/25 season on loan at the Premier League side, making 14 league appearances without contributing a single goal or assist. His only notable contributions came in the UEFA Europa Conference League, where he scored twice in four outings.
Crystal Palace opted against triggering the purchase option embedded in the loan agreement, citing Uche's failure to meet the contractual performance thresholds.
Torres opens the door to a transfer
Despite the disappointing stint in England, Getafe's coach is reportedly keen to retain Uche, and Torres insists the 23-year-old will return to the club once his loan contract expires on 30 June.
