Benjamin Asare has spoken proudly about his performance after Ghana held England to a 0-0 draw in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group L match at Boston Stadium.
The Black Stars goalkeeper produced a string of key saves throughout the contest, denying Thomas Tuchel's side and ensuring Ghana left with a hard-earned point from a difficult fixture.
It was Ghana's second clean sheet of the tournament. The Black Stars had also kept a clean sheet in their opening group game — a 1-0 win over Panama — making their defensive record one of the most impressive in Group L so far.

Asked about the achievement, the 33-year-old was characteristically understated in his comments to FIFA.com.
