Rangers eye Korean winger
Rangers are understood to be interested in Girona winger Kim Min-su, with reports from Spain and Scotland linking the 20-year-old South Korean to Ibrox. The Scotsman reports that the Glasgow club are prepared to pay £8 million to secure his signature.
Manager Derek McInnes has expressed confidence that Rangers "will get" further signings over the coming days, with the former Aberdeen boss hoping to bring "a couple of additions in" before their Scottish Premiership fixture away to Aberdeen on 30 August.
McInnes has also spoken warmly about 22-year-old defender Olwethu Makhanya, praising the player for the manner in which he has settled into Scottish football since arriving at the club.
Celtic chase Asprilla
Meanwhile, reports suggest Celtic are tracking Girona's Colombian midfielder Yaser Asprilla. The 22-year-old has attracted interest from Parkhead, according to the Daily Record.
Conference league round-up
Elsewhere in Scottish football, Hearts head coach Wouter Vrancken is hoping 19-year-old James Wilson's impressive strike in his side's 2-2 Conference League play-off first-leg draw with Rapid Vienna signals what the teenager is capable of going forward.
Hibernian head coach David Gray insists his side belong at European level after they held Gent to a 0-0 draw in Thursday's Conference League play-off first leg, setting up a compelling second leg to come.
