Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner has hit out at the officials after a VAR decision to disallow Neco Williams' late goal left his side without a victory in a 0-0 Premier League stalemate against Tottenham Hotspur at the City Ground.

The controversy erupted in the 67th minute, when Morgan Gibbs-White tested the goalkeeper and a goalmouth scramble ended with Williams forcing the ball over the line. Referee Craig Pawson immediately signalled a goal — only for VAR official Peter Bankes to intervene and reverse the decision, citing handball.

Glasner was scathing in his assessment, telling BBC Sport that the evidence used to overturn the on-field call was far from convincing. He argued that a moving shirt should not constitute proof of arm contact, and that the threshold for VAR intervention had not been met.
