Guinea-Bissau head coach Emiliano Té has dismissed concerns about the waterlogged pitch at the September 24 Stadium in Bissau ahead of Tuesday's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Nigeria.

Heavy and persistent rainfall in the Guinean capital has left the playing surface saturated, casting doubt over conditions for the Group L encounter. Nigeria's Super Eagles had a firsthand look at the pitch during Monday's training session, which took place under light rain.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Té acknowledged the state of the pitch but stressed that neither team had any power to change it.
