AC Milan are understood to be preparing a new contract offer for French midfielder Adrien Rabiot that would keep the 31-year-old at the club until 2030, rewarding his strong start to the season.

Transfer news in brief

AS Roma and Brazil defender Wesley, 23, has drawn interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle, with all three clubs reportedly tracking the young centre-back.

Arsenal and Manchester United have both distanced themselves from any move for Sporting and Uruguay left-back Maxi Araujo, 26, ruling out a pursuit of the player.

IFK Goteborg's 17-year-old Swedish midfielder Oliver Mansson has attracted attention from both Arsenal and Chelsea, according to reports.

Former Brighton defender Solly March, 32, is set to drop into the Championship after agreeing to join Charlton on a free transfer. March has been without a club since Brighton released him in July.
