Two Kazakh clubs — Ordabasy Shymkent and FC Tobol — are poised to submit offers for Hearts winger Islam Chesnokov, 26, according to the Edinburgh Evening News.

The report, which requires a subscription, suggests Chesnokov could be heading out of Edinburgh with competition for his signature emerging from Kazakhstan's top flight.

Celtic's striking targets

Celtic have registered an interest in Rodez forward Tairyk Arconte, 22, according to French outlet Foot Meracto. The young attacker could become a target as the Scottish champions look to strengthen their attacking options.

Meanwhile, last season's top scorer Benjamin Nygren, 24, has not closed the door on leaving Celtic. The Sweden midfielder's future remains uncertain, with the Glasgow Times reporting he is open to an exit from Parkhead.

Rangers target Hammarby defender

Rangers have stepped up their pursuit of Hammarby right-back Hampus Skoglund, 22. The Swedish defender has attracted intensified interest from Ibrox, according to TeamTalk.

Elsewhere, Basel have had two bids rejected for Zalaegerszegi TE defender Akpe Victory, 19. The young defender has also been linked with Rangers and several other clubs, according to transfer insider Ben Jacobs on X.
