Finnish record champions HJK Helsinki have completed the signing of Nigerian teenager Qurib Adetola, a former Golden Eaglets midfielder, on a deal running until the end of 2027 — with an option to extend through the 2028 season.

HJK announced the move on their official website on Monday, confirming that Adetola, 18, joins from Derby Football Academy in Nigeria. The club will pay a transfer compensation fee.

A versatile attacker with exceptional pace

HJK sports director Petri Vuorinen described Adetola as an attacking midfielder or winger who stands out for his speed and his ability to operate in tight spaces.
