Hojlund Makes Permanent Switch to Napoli After Manchester United Exit

Rasmus Hojlund has completed a permanent transfer from Manchester United to Napoli, bringing an end to his time at Old Trafford after two years at the club.
Manchester United confirmed the departure on Wednesday, revealing that the Denmark international had scored 26 goals in 95 appearances for the club since arriving from Atalanta in the summer of 2023.
Hojlund was part of the Manchester United squad that won the Emirates FA Cup in May 2024, coming off the bench against Manchester City in the final at Wembley.
A successful spell in Naples
The striker had returned to Italy at the start of the 2025/26 season on a season-long loan, and his time at Napoli proved fruitful. He scored 16 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions, helping the club win the Supercoppa Italiana and finish as runners-up in Serie A.
That form was enough to convince Napoli to make the deal permanent, securing the Danish forward on a full-time basis.
