Hull City have reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt over the signing of winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya, with the 21-year-old expected to undergo a medical in East Yorkshire ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Bahoya, who represents France at Under-21 level, has drawn interest from several Premier League clubs in recent months. He has contributed seven goals and eight assists across 78 appearances for Frankfurt since arriving from Angers in 2024.

Primarily deployed on the left wing, Bahoya offers versatility across the attacking line. He holds the Bundesliga speed record after being clocked at 23.09mph during a 2025 fixture against Bochum — a figure that underlines his explosive pace.

Thirteenth arrival of the summer

Should the deal be confirmed, Bahoya would become the 13th player to join Hull City during this summer transfer window, as the club continues to back manager Sergej Jakirovic with significant investment in his squad.
