Hull City Lead Race to Sign Millwall's Femi Azeez
Hull City are leading the chase to secure the signing of Millwall winger Femi Azeez, according to reports from The Sun, with the newly promoted Premier League club pulling ahead of their rivals in the race for the Nigeria international.
Millwall have already turned down a £14.5 million offer for Azeez this summer as the Championship side seek to retain one of their standout performers. Ipswich Town were also among the clubs that pursued the winger during the January transfer window, though they failed to agree terms with the Lions.
A standout season for Azeez
Azeez delivered one of his finest campaigns in the 2025/26 season, contributing 11 goals and seven assists across all competitions for Millwall — despite the club falling short of promotion to the Premier League.
His consistent displays throughout the campaign earned him a place in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season, underlining his status as one of the division's most dangerous attackers.
The 25-year-old also made his mark at international level, earning selection in the Super Eagles squad that claimed the Unity Cup in May. His form at club and international level has inevitably attracted Premier League attention.
With Hull City now firmly in the driving seat, Millwall face growing pressure to either raise their valuation or risk losing Azeez to top-flight football ahead of the new season.
