Hull City's Lucas Gourna-Douath Involved in Car Crash Near Training Ground

Hull City midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath, 24, has been involved in a road traffic accident close to the club's training ground in Cottingham, East Yorkshire — the second such incident near the same location in a matter of weeks.
Images circulating on social media show a black Mercedes, understood to belong to Gourna-Douath, on its side on Millhouse Woods Lane. A local resident told the BBC that the vehicle had also struck and damaged her car in the collision.
Hull City confirmed the club was aware of the images and stated that "no one was harmed in the incident." Humberside Police said emergency services were called to the scene at 08:30 GMT.
Neighbour's concern
Paul Nickerson, who lives on Millhouse Woods Lane, described arriving at the scene shortly after the crash. "I arrived just after it turned over because I heard the noise," he told the BBC. "If it had happened a minute before, my wife was walking down the road with our kids taking them to school. So, it's really worrying."
Second incident on the same road
The crash follows a separate incident in September, when Gourna-Douath's Hull City teammate Sorba Thomas was involved in a collision on the very same road. The back-to-back incidents on Millhouse Woods Lane have raised concerns among local residents.
Hull City have been approached for further comment.
