Kelechi Iheanacho delivered another clinical performance on Monday night, netting in his 11th consecutive league game to help Bursaspor cruise to a comfortable 2-0 win over Pendikspor at the Atatürk Spor Kompleksi.

The Green Crocodiles took control of the contest early, with Halil Akbunar breaking the deadlock in the 10th minute to reward their dominant opening spell.

Iheanacho then put the result beyond doubt two minutes after the hour mark, connecting with a cross from Lincoln inside the penalty area and directing a powerful, unmarked header into the net to seal Bursaspor's victory.

Stunning numbers

The goal takes the Nigeria international's tally to 15 goals and three assists in just 10 league appearances for Bursaspor this season — figures that underline the striker's extraordinary impact on the club's campaign.

Bursaspor, managed by Mustafa Er, climbed to second place in the league table with 25 points — just one point behind leaders Kayserispor — on the back of the result.

The side will next travel to face Keçiörengücü on Sunday as they look to keep the pressure on the top spot.
